Positions available

Position: Lead Network Engineers (2)

Location: Southeast/Central PA

LYLAB Network Consulting, a growing IT service provider, is seeking a computer network engineer to provide computer network support on our client's networks.

The majority of responsibilities will be to handle on-site troubleshooting of small to medium business computer systems as well as installation of new servers.

Candidates must be highly motivated and hard working. Character and loyalty count for a lot here. Your integrity must be of the highest level. You must like the idea of being on your own driving from client location to client location, taking care of challenging computer problems along the way.

Candidates must hold current Cisco, Novell, and Microsoft's certifications with between 3 -10 years of experience, preferably already familiar with the fast demanding pace of IT consulting work. VMware certified engineers are also needed.

Strong knowledge and practical experience with Cisco, Microsoft Exchange Server and GroupWise is a must. Strong knowledge of Firewalls, VPN's, and DNS is also required. Experience installing Windows and Novell servers and Exchange/GroupWise Servers is required. Experience installing Microsoft Small Business Server is big plus. Experience with Macs and Linux would also be a big help.

Candidate must be true professionals who are friendly, outgoing, polite, highly motivated, know how to carry on a conversation with clients, attentive to detail and appearance, and willing to work whenever clients need you. Most work is done during business hours, but sometimes more serious work is required during early mornings, evenings and weekends.
